On October 25, 1995, Henry Strongin Goldberg was born. Two weeks later, he was diagnosed with Fanconi anemia, a life-threating blood disease. His mother, Laurie Strongin, founded the Hope for Henry Foundation in 2003 in an effort to bring joy into the lives of sick children.

In May 2018, Hope for Henry requested two custom paintings (70”x 80”) to bring Hope for Henry’s spirit of laughter and fun into the office. These paintings draw inspiration from Laurie’s memoir, “Saving Henry” (Hyperion 2010). The paintings remind all who see them to live well, and laugh hard.
